1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1. NOVA POSHTA LLC offers its services to individuals, individual entrepreneurs, and legal entities (hereinafter referred to as the Customer).
1.2. The rights and obligations of NOVA POSHTA LLC and the Customer (hereinafter referred to as the Parties) stipulated by these Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the Terms) shall arise from the agreement concluded between the Parties.
1.3. These Terms have been developed by NOVA POSHTA LLC in accordance with the requirements of the applicable legislation in order to regulate the services of transportation of shipments and to provide a range of services related to the delivery of shipments on the territory of Ukraine.
1.4. By handing over the shipment to NOVA POSHTA LLC for transportation, the Customer confirms having read and agreed to the provisions of these Terms in force at the time of handing over the shipment for transportation and undertakes to fulfill them whether or not the express waybill bears the Customer's signature.
1.5. These Terms are available on novaposhta.ua, the official website of NOVA POSHTA LLC (hereinafter referred to as the Website).
2. BASIC SERVICE
2.1. The basic service involves arranging the shipment transportation across the territory of Ukraine.
2.2. Types of basic service:
✔ "Address-Address" means acceptance of the shipment at the Sender's address and delivery of this shipment to the Recipient's address.
✔ "Branch-Branch" means acceptance of the shipment from the Sender at the branch in the Sender's city and delivery of this shipment to the Recipient at the branch in the Recipient's city.
✔ "Address-Branch" means acceptance of the shipment at the Sender's address and delivery of this shipment to the Recipient at the branch in the Recipient's city.
✔ "Branch-Address" means acceptance of the shipment from the Sender at the branch in the Sender's city and delivery of this shipment to the Recipient's address.
✔ "Branch-Parcel locker" means acceptance of the shipment from the Sender at the branch in the Sender's city and delivery of this shipment to the parcel locker in the Recipient's city.
✔ "Address-Parcel locker" means acceptance of the shipment from the Sender at the address in the Sender's city and delivery of this shipment to the parcel locker in the Recipient's city.
✔ "Parcel locker-Branch" means acceptance of the shipment from the Sender at the parcel locker in the Sender's city and delivery of this shipment to the Recipient at the branch in the Recipient's city.
✔ "Parcel locker-Address" means acceptance of the shipment from the Sender at the parcel locker in the Sender's city and delivery of this shipment to the Recipient at the address in the Recipient's city.
2.3. "Parcel locker-Parcel locker" means acceptance of the shipment from the Sender at the parcel locker in the Sender's city and delivery of this shipment to the parcel locker in the Recipient's city. Shipments shall be delivered according to the terms and at the rates specified on the Website on the day of the shipment registration.
2.4. Under these Terms, a shipment means cargo, documents, or other items (depending on the information declared in the relevant express waybill) accepted by NOVA POSHTA LLC for the provision of the basic service.
2.5. NOVA POSHTA LLC reserves the right to change the pickup point in case of closure or relocation of the branch, having previously informed the Customer thereof.
3. SHIPMENT DIMENSIONS AND WEIGHT REQUIREMENTS
3.1. Branch network is a chain of branches of NOVA POSHTA LLC that accept and deliver shipments. Branches are divided into the following types:
✔ Cargo branch means a branch where shipments (documents, parcels, cargoes, pallets, and tires/rims) [1] with an actual and volumetric weight not exceeding 1000 kg per single place, length not exceeding 300 cm, and width and height not exceeding 170 cm are accepted/dispatched. Dimensions are indicated including packaging. Certain branches are allowed to accept/dispatch shipments with a maximum actual weight not exceeding 1100 kg per single place, length not exceeding 600 cm, and height not exceeding 220 cm.
✔ Post office means a branch where shipments (documents and parcels) with an actual and volumetric weight not exceeding 30 kg per single place or express waybill and with a maximum length of one side not exceeding 120 cm and each other side not exceeding 70 cm are accepted/dispatched. Dimensions are indicated including packaging.
3.2. Post office (with weight restrictions) is a branch where shipments with actual and volumetric weight per express waybill with a maximum length of one side not exceeding 60 cm are accepted/dispatched. Dimensions are indicated including packaging. You can find information on weight restrictions at post offices on the Website.
3.3. Parcel locker network is a chain of automated postal terminals designed to dispatch and deliver parcels with no representatives of NOVA POSHTA LLC involved. The company's parcel locker network consists of its proprietary parcel lockers.
The parcel lockers accept shipments with an actual weight of up to 20 kg per single place, a size not exceeding 40x60x30 cm, and a declared value of up to 15,000 hryvnias. Dimensions are indicated including packaging.
3.4. Pickup point is a branch format located on the territory of an operating business (grocery store, clothing/household/building materials store, mini-market, pharmacy, etc.), where only shipments with a declared value of less than 15,000 hryvnias, a weight not exceeding 30 kg per express waybill, and a maximum length of one side of the shipment not exceeding 120 cm are accepted or dispatched. If the Recipient fails to receive the shipment within 5 calendar days, it will be transferred to the nearest branch of NOVA POSHTA LLC.
3.5. With addressed service, shipments with an actual or volumetric weight not exceeding 1000 kg per single place, a maximum length not exceeding 300 cm, and a height and width not exceeding 170 cm are accepted/dispatched. Shipments with a height of 170 cm to 220 cm can be transported in a horizontal position if specially marked. Dimensions are indicated including packaging.
3.6. Shipments exceeding the permissible limits in size or weight shall be accepted for transportation only by prior agreement of the Parties.
3.7. Shipments in corrugated cardboard boxes sealed together with stretch film and adhesive tape are not accepted for transportation. It is allowed to combine up to three shipments into one if the following requirements are met all at once:
✔ The shipment contains textile products (clothing, fabrics, or soft goods);
✔ Total weight not exceeding 10 kg;
✔ The packages are sealed together with at least five layers of stretch film and adhesive tape, forming a single and integral package for the combined shipment.
4. SHIPMENT PACKAGING REQUIREMENTS
4.1. Shipment packaging must be proper and of high quality, following Appendix A "Shipment Packaging Rules" to these Terms, and ensure the integrity of the shipment during transportation.
5. SHIPMENTS PROHIBITED FOR TRANSPORTATION
5.1. National currency (except for numismatic coins and related collections), foreign currency, and securities.
5.2. All kinds of firearms, main parts of weapons, devices for firing bullets equipped with rubber or similar non-lethal projectiles and ammunition, cold steel arms, and other items, specially designed for offense and defense (brass knuckles, stilettoes, cans with paralytic liquid, etc.), munitions, explosive initiating devices, explosives devices or substances, flammable or other hazardous substances, unless otherwise provided by law.
5.3. Hydrogen peroxide, acids, high-octane oxygen-containing impurities (chemical compounds added to gasoline), as well as liquids and substances in containers and other vessels with class 1 to 7 hazard signs on the manufacturer's label (sticker) inclusive: flammable, ignitable, and explosive substances, radioactive substances and other dangerous shipments with appropriate labeling ("explosive materials and substances", "pyrotechnic products", "gases", "flammable liquids", "spontaneously combustible substances", "toxic and infectious substances", "oxidizing substances", "radioactive materials", "corrosive and caustic substances", "other dangerous substances and products").
Substances labeled with hazard classes 8 and 9, except for acids (regardless of concentration) and substances containing any amount of acid, mercury, hydrogen peroxide, or other chemical compounds with oxidizing properties, are allowed for transportation.
Poisonous plants prohibited for transportation.
5.4. Cylinders with liquid and gas, including all types of fire extinguishers (except for empty cylinders without a valve); cans/cartridges with propane, butane, isobutane, and other combustible gases.
5.5. Containers with liquids without a manufacturer's label (sticker) bearing information on the name of the substance, its purpose, properties, and storage conditions; with signs of damage to the container, traces of leakage, or unpleasant odor; wrapped in corrugated cardboard, opaque film, adhesive tape, or other wrapping materials or packed in boxes (except for the manufacturer's packaging with information on the name of the substance and its properties). If the liquid (substance) is of chemical origin, it is mandatory to have hazard signs.
✔ Paints and varnishes in metal containers without volume and quantity restrictions only to/from cargo branches or to/from the address;
✔ Aerosols and sprays: cans with paints, household, construction, cosmetics, and automotive chemicals with a capacity of up to 1000 ml;
✔ Medicinal, antiseptic, disinfectant, and detergent products containing up to 70% alcohol in plastic and metal containers of a capacity not exceeding 10 l;
✔ Perfumes and beauty products with an alcohol content of up to 70% in glass and plastic containers;
✔ Automotive (motor, transmission) oils without limitation of the container volume.
5.6. Fluorescent lamps and other products containing mercury; asbestos and products made of it (pipes, slate, etc.).
5.7. Pre-owned batteries, including batteries for automotive, motorcycle, and agricultural machinery.
Allowed for transportation:
✔ New batteries for automotive, motorcycle, agricultural machinery, and other new batteries with terminals covered with factory plastic lids (either in the factory packaging or not) are allowed for transportation only to/from cargo branches or to/from the address.
✔ Household electrical appliances, power tools, electric vehicles, mobile communications, toys, and other products with built-in batteries.
5.8. Animals, animal remains, raw fur, and human ashes.
5.9. Food products requiring special temperature conditions or with a shelf life of up to 5 days (shelf life must be indicated on the package), chilled or frozen food, dairy products (except for vegetables, fruits, berries, and herbs that are packaged according to the Nova Poshta LLC Packaging Standard and do not pose a risk of contaminating other shipments).
Shipments allowed for transportation in shipping packaging that meets the requirements described in Appendix B on "Requirements for packaging chilled shipments" to these Terms. Nova Poshta LLC shall not check the temperature conditions during the delivery of such a shipment. Shipments with vegetables, fruits, seeds, plants, and ready-to-eat food products of animal origin may also be restricted or prohibited in areas where a special quarantine regime has been declared.
5.10. Alcoholic beverages with an ethyl alcohol content exceeding 8.5 percent by volume unit, lacking standardized excise tax stamps, tobacco products, and liquids used in electronic cigarettes, lacking standardized excise tax stamps.
Alcoholic beverages with an ethyl alcohol content of up to 70% in glass and other containers not exceeding 5 liters with a standardized excise tax stamp, still (non-sparkling) wines, and fermented beverages with an actual strength exceeding 1.2% by volume unit of ethyl alcohol but not exceeding 15%, which are not required to have excise tax stamps, are allowed for transportation.
During the martial law regime, according to the order of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (No. 62 "On the Prohibition to Trade Alcoholic Beverages and Substances in the Territory of Donetsk and Luhansk Regions" dated March 15, 2022), no alcoholic beverages and spirit-based substances (except for medicines approved for use and included in the State Register of Medicines and Disinfectants) are accepted for delivery to Luhansk and Donetsk regions. If these goods are found while being delivered, alcoholic beverages and spirit-based substances will be confiscated and disposed of.
5.11. Medicines requiring special storage and transportation conditions (including hydrogen peroxide), ethyl alcohol, and veterinary immunobiological agents.
The prohibition on transportation does not apply to the transportation/shipment of human biological material as a smear (including from the oral cavity); medicinal, antiseptic, disinfectant, and detergent products containing up to 70% alcohol in plastic and metal containers of a capacity not exceeding 10 l.
5.12. Biological agents (microorganisms, viruses, biological toxins, particles, or other infectious substances, both of natural origin and genetically modified, that can cause infection, allergy, toxicity, or otherwise endanger humans, animals, or plants).
5.13. Narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and precursors included in the list approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 770 "On Approval of the List of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances, and Precursors" dated May 6, 2000, and their analogs.
5.14. Odorous, dirty, or potentially harmful shipments that may cause damage to other shipments or human or animal health (e.g., ready-to-eat food, heavily stained spare parts, items in oil, or other corrosive substances, bacteria and live viruses, toxic substances, etc.).
5.15. Special technical means for covertly acquired information, the list of which is determined by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 669 on "Certain Issues Regarding Special Technical Means for Extracting Information from Communication Channels and other Technical Means for Covertly Acquired Information" dated September 22, 2016.
5.16. Other goods prohibited by the current legislation of Ukraine (non-standard goods that are not included in any of the listed categories but are prohibited for transportation by the current legislation).
5.17. Labeling of hazardous goods that are prohibited for acceptance.
6. DECLARED VALUE OF THE SHIPMENT
6.1. The declared value is the cost of the shipment declared by the Sender in the express waybill. The declared value must be equal to the real (market) value of the shipment.
6.2. Restrictions on the declared value:
✔ Shipments weighing up to 100 kg (inclusive) – up to 399,999 (three hundred ninety-nine thousand nine hundred ninety-nine) hryvnias;
✔ Shipments weighing over 100 kg – up to 1,000,000 (one million) hryvnias;
✔ Shipments from/to a parcel locker – up to 15,000 (fifteen thousand) hryvnias.
6.3. If there are any doubts about the contents of the shipment and regardless of the declared value claimed by the Sender, a representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC is entitled to take a photo of such shipment to upload it to the data system of NOVA POSHTA LLC.
7. CALCULATION OF WEIGHT AND COST OF SERVICES
7.1. Two types of weight are defined for a shipment: actual weight and volumetric weight for all places in total.
7.1.1. The cost of transportation services shall be calculated according to the greater value of the actual or volumetric weight according to the transportation rates available on the Website.
The actual weight is determined by weighing the shipment on a scale.
The volumetric weight is determined by measuring the dimensions of the shipment by the following formula:
Volumetric weight [kg] = Length [cm] х Width [cm] х Height [cm] / 4000
or Volumetric weight [kg] = Volume [m³] х 250
7.1.2. If the shipment is irregular in geometric shape (there are protruding parts), the volumetric weight is measured at the extreme points of the shipment's dimensions.
7.2. The shipment weight is determined after it is packed. The only exceptions are shipments with such types of packaging as crates, pallet boards, and Flat-boxes. Such a shipment's weight is determined by the extreme points inside the crate, pallet board, or Flat-box. A shipment packed in the Sender's crate, pallet board, or Flat-box is measured by the extreme points of such packages.
7.3. The following types and subtypes of shipments are available:
✔ "Documents" means such shipments as papers, postcards, letters weighing [2] no more than 1 kg and having the following dimensions: length not exceeding 32 cm, width not exceeding 23 cm, and height not exceeding 2 cm.
✔ "Parcels" means shipments weighing no more than 30 kg (actual or volumetric weight).
✔ "Cargoes" means shipments weighing between 30 kg and 1000 kg (actual or volumetric weight inclusive) per single place, with a length not exceeding 300 cm, a width not exceeding 170 cm, and a height not exceeding 170 cm.
✔ "Tires/rims" means a special subtype of cargo, which includes passenger and truck tires and rims. The volumetric weight of passenger tires and rims must not exceed 45 kg per single place, and the volumetric weight of truck tires and rims must not exceed 105 kg per single place.
✔ "Pallet" means a special subtype of cargo placed and secured on a baseplate with transportation straps, fastening belts, or wrapped in stretch film, with a height not exceeding 170 cm and an actual weight not exceeding 1000 kg (on occasion, with a height not exceeding 220 cm and an actual weight not exceeding 1100 kg).
The transportation cost of the listed types of shipments is calculated according to the rates for the delivery of documents, parcels, cargoes, tires/rims, and pallets, which are available on the Website.
7.4. Baseplate is a wooden, plastic, or metal structure (factory or handmade) with a groove intended for transportation of shipments with warehouse vehicles, at least 8 cm high; the size of one side of the base of this structure is at least 60 cm, and the other side is from 60 cm to 200 cm (inclusive).
7.5. The actual weight and height of the baseplate (base) are included in the height and actual weight of the pallet. The only exception applies to shipments with crating packaging ordered. The actual weight of such shipments is calculated without crating, and the height of the pallet is calculated by the extreme points of the crating.
7.6. If the pallet is irregular in geometric shape (there are protruding parts), the pallet weight is measured at the edge points of the pallet's dimensions.
7.7. Pallets are classified as standard and non-standard. A standard pallet is one with a baseplate area (base/edge points) not exceeding 2 m².
7.8. The weight and cost of standard pallets are calculated depending on the baseplate area and actual weight according to the pallet delivery rates available on the Website.

7.9. The weight of non-standard pallets with a baseplate area (base/edge points) exceeding 2 m² is measured at the edge points of the pallet's dimensions using the following formula:
Pallet weight = Baseplate area [m²] х 425 kg
7.10. To calculate the cost of non-standard pallets, the pallet weight and the actual weight are calculated and the higher value is selected. Whereby, the cost is calculated according to the rates for delivery services of the "Cargo" type available on the Website.
7.11. Bulk cargo in bags is placed on the pallet as follows: a sheet of corrugated cardboard is placed on the pallet, at least 5 cm is left from the edge of the pallet to the surface of the bag, and the resulting cargo on the pallet is wrapped in corrugated cardboard.
7.12. When transporting containers with liquids placed on a pallet, there is a limit on the number of stacking rows according to the labeling on the shipment. If no appropriate labeling is provided, it is allowed to arrange the shipment in no more than two rows in height.
7.13. If the shipment and baseplate are inseparable from each other (crating, boxes with feet, etc.) and do not require additional crating, it is accepted as "Cargo", and the actual weight and height of the baseplate are included in the dimensions and weight of the shipment.
7.14. Shipments in reusable "Plastic box" or "Car glass box" containers that are subject to return are accepted as "Cargo" type shipments.
8. INFORMATION REQUIRED TO REGISTER THE SHIPMENT
8.1. Type of basic service:
✔ "Address-Address" [3];

✔ "Branch-Parcel locker" [5];
✔ "Address-Parcel locker"
✔ "Parcel locker-Parcel locker"

8.2. Information about the Sender:
✔ For legal entities and individual entrepreneurs: name (USREOU code) / Full name address/branch/parcel locker, and mobile phone number of the contact person, subject to clause 9.2 of these Terms;
✔ For individuals: Full name address/branch/parcel locker, and mobile phone number.
8.3. City of delivery.
8.4. Information about the Recipient:
✔ For legal entities and individual entrepreneurs: name (USREOU code) / Full name, address/branch/parcel locker, and mobile phone number of the contact person;
✔ For individuals: Full name address/branch/parcel locker, and mobile phone number.
8.5. Information about the shipment:
✔ number of places;
✔ actual and volumetric weight;
✔ declared value;
✔ content description.
8.6. Service payer.
The services of NOVA POSHTA LLC shall be paid for through NovaPay LLC, a financial partner.
NovaPay LLC, a financial partner, is entitled to suspend the provision of financial services to the Customer (paying for the services of NOVA POSHTA LLC, Money Transfer, Payment Control, Safe Service, etc.) if the financial service is questionable at the time of ordering/performing (based on information obtained through transaction monitoring). This means that the Customer can still access the services of NOVA POSHTA LLC, but won't be able to access financial services from NovaPay LLC.

8.7. Payment method (cash/non-cash).
8.8. Additional services.
8.9. Other information that may affect the quality, time, and cost of services.
8.10. You can change the data in the express waybill at the branch (in the Sender's or Recipient's region; you can find out the list of settlements included in a particular region by calling the contact center); by making changes in your business account/mobile application/API; or by calling the contact center.
Data in the express waybill can be changed at the branch only if the express waybill number and one of the documents are presented under clause 12.2 of these Terms.
9. TERMS FOR ACCEPTING SHIPMENTS AT THE BRANCH OF NOVA POSHTA LLC
9.1. The Sender shall provide a duly packed shipment or can apply for the additional "Packing" service.
9.2. The Sender, represented by a representative of a legal entity or a representative of an individual entrepreneur, shall provide a business client ID card to the representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC when registering the shipment at the branch. If a representative has no business client ID card on the first visit to the branch, he or she must provide the original power of attorney with the mandatory details as required by NOVA POSHTA LLC [6] and one of the identity documents specified in the power of attorney, namely:
✔ Passport of a citizen of Ukraine,
✔ Passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad,
✔ Driver's license issued in Ukraine.
The identity documents referred to in this clause may be presented in one of the following ways:
✔ On a physical medium (paper document or card, depending on its type and date of issue),
✔ In the Diia mobile app (this means the electronic reproduction of the generated document by the Unified State Web Portal of Electronic Services together with a unique electronic identifier or barcode). To verify an electronic document, a representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC is authorized to scan a unique electronic identifier (barcode) from an electronic document in the Diia Mobile App.
Presenting a document other than the one specified in the original power of attorney is not recognized as confirmation of the representative's authorization and does not entitle him or her to act on behalf of the legal entity.
The original powers of attorney provided to the representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC shall not be returned.
9.3. If the Sender creates an express waybill independently (in the business account or using the API) and provides its printed version to a representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC, he or she may not provide the above documents according to clause 9.2 of these Terms.
9.4. If there are suspicions whether a shipment contains items from the category of prohibited goods (shipments in boxes, crates, bags, wrapped in non-transparent film, or other wrapping materials that hide the contents, without labeling, any identification, caustic smell, etc.), a representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC is entitled to request the shipment to be inspected and checked for contents.
In case of refusal and/or detection of prohibited contents of the shipment, the representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC is entitled to refuse to register the shipment and its transportation.
9.5. The Sender shall provide the information for the shipment registration according to Section 8 of these Terms.
9.6. If the Sender is a service payer and the form of payment is cash, he or she shall pay for the services.
9.7. The Sender undertakes to inform the Recipient of the express waybill number, delivery time, and familiarize the Recipient with these Terms.
9.8. Queue-free service for the following categories of Customers:
✔ Elderly people (a representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC is entitled to check the pension certificate);
✔ Persons with disabilities (regardless of disability group; a representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC is entitled to check a pension certificate or a document confirming disability);
✔ Persons accompanying children under 3 years of age;
✔ Pregnant women;
✔ Combatants (if they present the appropriate certificate);
✔ Military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (if they present a military ID card of the Department of the State Protection of Ukraine or any other certificate confirming that the person is currently in military service);
✔ Volunteers of territorial defense (if they present the appropriate certificate).
10. TERMS OF ACCEPTANCE OF THE SHIPMENT AT THE SENDER'S ADDRESS
10.1. A representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC can reach the Sender's address by foot (for shipments weighing no more than 30 kg).
10.2. There is an opportunity to drive a car of NOVA POSHTA LLC to the Sender's address (for shipments weighing more than 30 kg) at a distance not exceeding 50 meters.
10.3. The Sender shall provide a properly packed shipment according to section 4 of these Terms or have the option to apply for the additional service known as "Packaging". Before applying for the additional service at the address, be sure to order it first in the Nova Post mobile app. The additional service "Packaging" at the address is available to consumers only, while the size (weight) of shipments that can be packed at the address may not exceed 30 kg.
10.4. The Sender shall provide the information for the shipment registration according to Section 8 of these Terms.
10.5. The shipment shall be accepted by a representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC if the Sender is a service payer:
✔ By cash payment provided that the total amount payable for the services of NOVA POSHTA LLC does not exceed 75,000 (seventy-five thousand) hryvnias per express waybill;
✔ By non-cash payment for any total amount payable for the services of NOVA POSHTA LLC.
The services can be paid for by the Recipient or the Sender by cash or non-cash payment.
10.6. If the total weight of the shipment under the express waybill exceeds 30 kg and the additional service "From the door" has not been ordered, the Sender is responsible for loading the shipment into the body of the NOVA POSHTA LLC vehicle.
If the actual weight of the shipment according to the express waybill is up to 500 kg, then, at the Sender's request, NOVA POSHTA LLC shall ensure that the shipment is loaded into the body of the vehicle of NOVA POSHTA LLC using the vehicle's tail lift. In such a case, the Sender shall independently ensure the delivery of such shipment to the body of the vehicle of NOVA POSHTA LLC.
If the additional service "From the door" is ordered, the shipment is picked up only from the door of the Sender (apartment, private house, office, or warehouse). The representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC does not move the shipment around the Sender's premises.
10.7. The Sender shall inform the Recipient of the express waybill number, delivery time, and familiarize the Recipient with these Terms.
10.8. The Sender has the option to apply for the additional service "Packaging" or hand over a properly packed and labeled shipment to the Nova Post representative during the business day (or within the appropriate time when the parcel pickup is booked) and according to a special schedule on weekends and holidays. The working schedule is available on the Website.
10.8.1. If the Sender books a parcel pickup within one of the time intervals, and if the additional service "Packaging" is not ordered, the Sender shall ensure that the shipment is properly packed before the time interval starts.
10.8.2. The Sender must be present at the pickup address during the specified time interval.
10.9. If there are suspicions whether a shipment contains items from the category of prohibited goods (shipments in boxes, crates, bags, wrapped in non-transparent film, or other wrapping materials that hide the contents, without labeling, any identification, caustic smell, etc.), a representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC is entitled to request the shipment to be inspected and checked for contents.
In case of refusal and/or detection of prohibited contents of the shipment, the representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC is entitled to refuse to register the shipment and its transportation.
10.10. The representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC shall not provide an invoice to the Sender's address. To receive an invoice, the Sender must approach the nearest branch.
10.11. The representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC shall not spend more than 15 (fifteen) minutes picking up the parcels, except for the cases when the additional service "Calling a courier" is ordered.
10.12. The courier picks up the shipment next to the territory of the Sender's residence. If the Sender's address is a residential premise in an apartment building or a non-residential premise in a facility with more than one such space, the shipment is picked up next to such apartment building or facility. The shipment of up to 30 kg shall be picked up at the entrance of an apartment, private house, or other non-residential premises without ordering the additional service "From the Door". The shipment over 30 kg shall be picked up at the entrance of an apartment, private house, or other non-residential premises if you order the additional service "From the Door".
11. TERMS FOR SENDING SHIPMENTS FROM A PARCEL LOCKER
11.1. The Sender can send shipments from a parcel locker when creating an express waybill in the mobile application of NOVA POSHTA LLC.
11.2. For a list of settlements where the parcel locker service is available, please follow the link https://novaposhta.ua/poshtomat/send/
11.3. The parcel lockers accept shipments with an actual weight of up to 20 kg per single place, a size not exceeding 40x60x30 cm, and a declared value of up to 15,000 hryvnias. Dimensions are indicated including packaging.
11.4. One can use parcel lockers to send items that are not included in the list of goods prohibited for transportation according to Section 5 of these Terms.
11.5. The Sender can send only duly packed shipments from the parcel locker according to Section 4 of these Terms or use the additional "Packing" service. You can order the additional "Packing" service in the mobile application of NOVA POSHTA LLC. The Sender shall create an online document and activate the service by selecting the size of the shipment and placing the unpacked shipment in the parcel locker. Labeling is not required for sending shipments from a parcel locker.
11.6. To send shipments from a parcel locker, the Sender must download the mobile application of NOVA POSHTA LLC and log in.
11.7. To send shipments from a parcel locker, the Sender must independently create an express waybill in the mobile application of NOVA POSHTA LLC, specifying the details according to Section 8 of these Terms. One can place no more than one shipment per express waybill in a parcel locker.
11.8. One can send a shipment from a parcel locker using an express waybill with a selected shipment only within 6 hours from the moment the express waybill is created. Once 6 hours have passed since the express waybill with a selected shipment to be sent from a parcel locker was created, it is automatically deleted.
11.9. If the Sender is the payer of the delivery services, the Sender must pay for the delivery services with a bank card in the mobile application of NOVA POSHTA LLC after creating an express waybill. A parcel locker cannot be opened unless delivery services are paid for if the Sender is the service payer.
11.10. To send a shipment from a parcel locker, the Sender's smartphone with the mobile application of NOVA POSHTA LLC installed and the express waybill created therein must enable Bluetooth, geolocation, and mobile connectivity. The parcel locker can be opened by the Sender using the mobile application of NOVA POSHTA LLC. Once the shipment is loaded into the parcel locker, the Sender must close the cell and confirm it by clicking on the corresponding button in the mobile application of NOVA POSHTA LLC.
11.11. Once the representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC picks up the shipment, previously placed by the Sender in the parcel locker, the Recipient receives an SMS notification confirming its delivery to the Recipient.
11.12. If the size of the shipment does not fit into the parcel locker or if there are technical problems with the parcel locker when placing it, the Sender can send the shipment from the branch or order an addressed pickup.
11.13. If there are any troubles with creating an express waybill, opening a cell, loading a shipment into a cell, or other problems when sending from a parcel locker, the Sender can apply to the contact center for a prompt solution.
11.14. The working schedule of the parcel lockers is available on the Website.
11.15. Only persons who live in apartments or use non-residential premises located in an apartment building can send shipments from a parcel locker installed at the entrance of an apartment building.
12. TERMS FOR RECEIVING SHIPMENTS AT THE BRANCH
12.1. Provide the representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC with the express waybill number (a mandatory condition for cases specified in clauses 12.4 and 12.5 of these Terms) or the mobile phone number to which the SMS notification of the shipment arrival was sent.
12.2. The Recipient, an individual or an individual entrepreneur, shall present to the representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC any of the following documents confirming the identity of the Recipient specified in the express waybill, namely:
12.2.1. Passport of a citizen of Ukraine.
12.2.2. Temporary certificate of a citizen of Ukraine.
12.2.3. Permanent residence permit.
12.2.4. Temporary residence permit.
12.2.5. Refugee certificate issued in Ukraine.
12.2.6. Passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad.
12.2.7. Temporary certificate confirming the identity of a citizen of Ukraine.
12.2.8. A stateless person's identity card for travel abroad.
12.2.9. Passport of a foreign citizen with personal data in Cyrillic and/or Latin characters. If a different alphabet is used, an apostille (an official translation of the passport into Ukrainian) is required.
12.2.10. An electronic version of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine from the Diia mobile application.
12.2.11. An electronic version of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad from the Diia mobile application.
12.3. To receive shipments with a declared value of less than 30,000 (thirty thousand) hryvnias, the Recipient shall present any document according to the following list:
✔ Driver's license issued in Ukraine;
✔ Pension certificate;
✔ Student card;
✔ Migrant card;
✔ Identity card for returning to Ukraine;
✔ Diplomatic passport of Ukraine;
✔ Service passport of Ukraine;
✔ Refugee travel document;
✔ Certificate of a combatant;
✔ Supplementary protection certificate;
✔ Travel document of a person granted supplementary protection;
✔ Temporary protection certificate;
✔ Business client identification card;
✔ Plastic or electronic (from a mobile application) client card, provided that the following conditions are met:
− Recipient's phone number and full name in the express waybill match the client's card data;
− The Recipient is an individual.
✔ One of the documents according to clauses 12.2.1, 12.2.3-12.2.11 of these Terms.
12.4. It is allowed to issue shipments without documents confirming the Recipient's identity in the following cases:
12.4.1. If the declared value is less than 30,000 (thirty thousand) hryvnias and the following conditions are met at the same time:
✔ The Recipient can provide the express waybill number;
✔ The shipment has an outstanding money transfer (including delivery services) totaling less than or equal to 5,000 (five thousand) hryvnias.
12.4.2. If the declared value of the shipment is less than 30,000 (thirty thousand) hryvnias and the following conditions are met at the same time:
✔ The Recipient can provide the express waybill number;
✔ The Recipient can provide the SMS code [7] that was sent to the phone number specified in the express waybill in the "Recipient" block.
12.5. To receive a shipment with a declared value of 30,000 (thirty thousand) hryvnias or more, the Recipient must provide any document from the list below:
✔ The original of the identity document, according to the list specified in clauses 12.2.1, 12.2.3-12.2.9, and provide the SMS code that was sent to the phone number specified in the express waybill in the "Recipient" block, or confirm that the shipment is received by accepting an incoming call to the Recipient's phone number. If the SMS code is not received or if all attempts to identify the Client by SMS have been exhausted, the identification is performed by phone call. The number of available SMS sendings is 2, and the validity of the SMS code is 5 minutes. Identification by phone call is available after failed SMS identification attempts;
✔ An electronic identity document according to the list specified in clauses 12.2.10-12.2.11 from the Diia mobile application. To verify the document, a representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC is entitled to scan a dynamic code (barcode/QR code) from an electronic document in the Diia mobile application.
12.6. To receive the shipment, regardless of the amount of the declared value according to the document specified in clause 12.2.2 of these Terms, the Recipient must provide the SMS code that was sent to the phone number specified in the express waybill in the "Recipient" block. If the SMS code is not received or if all attempts to identify the Customer by SMS have been exhausted, the identification is performed by phone call. The number of available SMS sendings is 2, and the validity of the SMS code is 5 minutes. Identification by phone call is available after failed SMS identification attempts.
12.7. At the request of a representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC, the Recipient must present a passport of a citizen of Ukraine or another document confirming his or her age if the shipment contains goods that are allowed to be sold to persons who have reached the age established by law. If such a document is not available, the representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC is entitled to refuse to issue the shipment.
12.8. To receive any amount of money transfer [8] and/or send a money transfer (including "Money Transfer" and "Payment Control") totaling 5,000 (five thousand) hryvnias or more, you must provide an identity document according to the list specified in clauses 12.2.1, 12.2.3-12.2.11 of these Terms or provide a passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad subject to mandatory presentation of an individual taxpayer registration card or a certificate of assignment of an individual taxpayer identification number.
To verify (confirm) the identity, a representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC is entitled to
✔ scan a paper document,
✔ or scan the barcode from an electronic document in the Diia application,
✔ or attach the ID card to the POS terminal if the amount of transfers (sending and receiving) within one day exceeds: 5,000 hryvnias for cash transfers; 29,999 hryvnias for transfers via bank payment cards.
12.9. An individual not specified in the express waybill as the Recipient and in the absence of the ordered additional "Hand delivery" service must provide the representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC with the express waybill number and one of the following sets of documents:
12.9.1. A duly executed power of attorney and an identity document according to power of attorney (passport of a citizen of Ukraine, passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad).
12.9.2. A duly executed power of attorney and an identity document according to the power of attorney, as listed in clauses 12.2 and 12.3, except for a plastic or electronic client card/electronic version of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine from the Diia mobile application/electronic version of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad from the Diia mobile application (for shipments with a declared value of less than 30,000 (thirty thousand) hryvnias).
12.9.3. At the same time, provide a passport of a citizen of Ukraine/passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad confirming the identity of the Recipient specified in the express waybill and his or her own identity document according to the list specified in clauses 12.2 and 12.3, except for a plastic or electronic client card/electronic version of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine from the Diia mobile application/electronic version of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad from the Diia mobile application (for shipments with a declared value of less than 30,000 (thirty thousand) hryvnias).
12.9.4. Provide a document confirming the degree of kinship if the individual is a close relative of the Recipient:
✔ The husband/wife shall provide his or her passport of a citizen of Ukraine (with a
marriage record or with the original marriage certificate) or passport of a citizen of Ukraine/passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad of the Recipient specified in the express waybill, except for a plastic or electronic client card/electronic version of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine from the Diia mobile application/electronic version of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad from the Diia mobile application (for shipments with a declared value of less than 30,000 (thirty thousand) hryvnias);
✔ The father or mother shall provide his or her passport of a citizen of Ukraine (with a record of the degree of kinship) or present the child's birth certificate and identity documents of the parents according to the list specified in clauses 12.2-12.3, except for a plastic or electronic client card/electronic version of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine from the Diia mobile application/electronic version of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad from the Diia mobile application (for shipments with a declared value of less than 30,000 (thirty thousand) hryvnias);
✔ The guardian/custodian can receive the shipment intended for a relative with disabilities by providing a document from the guardianship authorities and a document proving the identity of the guardian/custodian according to the list specified in clauses 12 .2 and 12.3, except for a plastic or electronic client card/electronic version of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine from the Diia mobile application/electronic version of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad from the Diia mobile application (for shipments with a declared value of less than 30,000 (thirty thousand) hryvnias).
If the Recipient is a married woman according to the express waybill, and the passport of a relative (husband, father, or mother) bears her maiden name, an additional document is a marriage certificate or passport of the citizen of Ukraine of the Recipient specified in the express waybill.
12.9.5. The shipment can be received without documents confirming the Recipient's identity according to the requirements of clause 12.4 of these Terms.
12.10. An individual not specified in the express waybill as the Recipient shall provide the representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC with the original death certificate of the Recipient and a document confirming the degree of kinship according to clause 12.9.4. This condition is valid if an additional "Hand delivery" service is ordered. The shipment can be received if the date of creating the shipment precedes the date of the Recipient's death indicated in the death certificate.
12.11. The Recipient, being a representative of a legal entity and a representative of an individual entrepreneur, shall provide the representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC with a business client identification card [9] (the Recipient's phone number and full name in the express waybill must match the data of the identification card; if receiving shipments with a declared value of less than 30,000 (thirty thousand) hryvnias), or a document and the original power of attorney bearing the mandatory details according to the requirements of NOVA POSHTA LLC. The power of attorney shall be provided by the representative on the first visit to the branch; from the next visit until the expiration of the power of attorney, the representative shall only present the identity document specified in the power of attorney:
✔ Passport of a citizen of Ukraine;
✔ Passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad;
✔ Driver's license issued in Ukraine (except for the electronic version from the Diia mobile application; for shipments with a declared value of less than 30,000 (thirty thousand) hryvnias).
The identity documents referred to in this clause may be presented in one of the following ways:
✔ On a physical medium (paper document or card, depending on the type and date of issue),
✔ In the Diia Mobile App (i.e. the electronic reproduction of the generated document through the Unified State Web Portal of Electronic Services together with a unique electronic identifier or barcode). To verify an electronic document, a representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC is authorized to scan a unique electronic identifier (barcode) from an electronic document in the Diia Mobile App.
Presenting a document other than the one specified in the original power of attorney is not recognized as confirmation of the representative's authorization and does not entitle him or her to act on behalf of the legal entity.
The original powers of attorney provided to the representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC shall not be returned.
12.12. Pay for the services rendered, depending on the payment method.
12.13. Queue-free service for the following categories of Customers:
✔ Elderly people (a representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC is entitled to check the pension certificate);
✔ Persons with disabilities (regardless of disability group; a representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC is entitled to check a pension certificate or a document confirming disability);
✔ Persons accompanying children under 3 years of age;
✔ Pregnant women;
✔ Combatants (if they present the appropriate certificate);
✔ Military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (if they present a military ID card of the Department of the State Protection of Ukraine or any other certificate confirming that the person is currently in military service);
✔ Volunteers of territorial defense (if they present the appropriate certificate).
12.13 NOVA POSHTA LLC is entitled to suspend or restrict the provision of services to the Customer for the period of verification of the Customer's fulfillment of the terms of the Agreement, in case of reasonable doubts about the Customer's improper performance and/or reasonable suspicion of violation of the terms of the said Agreement. NOVA POSHTA LLC reserves the right to change the conditions for receiving shipments to store the shipment and/or deliver it to the proper recipient.
13. TERMS FOR DELIVERING SHIPMENTS TO THE RECIPIENT'S ADDRESS
13.1. Willingness of the Recipient or his or her representative to receive the shipment at the delivery address during the business day (or within the appropriate time interval for which delivery is ordered) and according to a special schedule on weekends and holidays. The working schedule is available on the Website.
13.2. If the shipment is not delivered to the address within 3 calendar days (the first day of delivery is not included), the next calendar day the shipment will be sent to the nearest branch.
13.3. Correct address and current mobile phone number of the Recipient (provided by the Sender).
13.4. A representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC can reach the Recipient's address by foot (for shipments weighing no more than 30 kg).
13.5. There is an opportunity to drive a car of NOVA POSHTA LLC to the Recipient's address (for shipments weighing more than 30 kg) at a distance not exceeding 50 meters.
13.6. If the shipment's weight exceeds 30 kg and the additional service "To the door" is not ordered, the Recipient shall be responsible for receiving the shipment from the vehicle of NOVA POSHTA LLC.
13.7. If the additional service "To the door" is ordered, the shipment is delivered only to the Recipient's door (apartment, private house, office, or warehouse). The representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC does not move the shipment around the Recipient's premises.
13.8. When delivering shipments to the address, if the "Hand delivery" service is not requested and the declared value of the shipment is less than 30,000 (thirty thousand) hryvnias, the shipment is delivered to the person at the address indicated in the express waybill.
13.9. When delivering shipments to the address, if the "Hand delivery" service is requested or the declared value of the shipment exceeds 30,000 (thirty thousand) hryvnias, the shipment is delivered as soon as the representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC is provided with one of the documents confirming the Recipient's identity specified in the express waybill:
✔ Passport of a citizen of Ukraine;
✔ Temporary certificate of a citizen of Ukraine;
✔ Passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad;
✔ Passport of a foreign citizen with personal data in Cyrillic and/or Latin characters. If a different alphabet is used, an apostille (an official translation of the passport into Ukrainian) is required.
13.10. In public places, the delivery of shipments to an individual, individual entrepreneur, or representative of a legal entity is carried out as soon as the representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC is provided with one of the documents confirming the Recipient's identity specified in the express waybill:
✔ Passport of a citizen of Ukraine;
✔ Temporary certificate of a citizen of Ukraine;
✔ Passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad;
✔ Passport of a foreign citizen with personal data in Cyrillic and/or Latin characters. If a different alphabet is used, an apostille (an official translation of the passport into Ukrainian) is required.
13.11. If the declared value of the shipment is less than 30,000 (thirty thousand) hryvnias, the shipment shall be issued in public places based on the following documents:
✔ Driver's license issued in Ukraine;
✔ Pension certificate;
✔ Or one of the documents according to clause 12.10 of these Terms.
13.12. The shipment is delivered by a representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC if the Recipient is a service payer:
✔ By cash payment provided that the total amount payable does not exceed 75,000 (seventy-five thousand) hryvnias per express waybill;
✔ By non-cash payment for any total amount payable for the services of NOVA POSHTA LLC.
The Recipient or the Sender may pay for the services by cash or non-cash payment.
13.13. At the request of a representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC, the Recipient must present a passport of a citizen of Ukraine or another document confirming his or her age if the shipment contains goods that are allowed to be sold to persons who have reached the age established by law. If such a document is not available, the representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC is entitled to refuse to issue the shipment.
13.14. If the additional "Hand delivery" service is requested, an individual not specified in the express waybill as the Recipient must provide the representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC with the original death certificate of the Recipient and a document confirming the degree of kinship according to clause 12.9.4. The shipment can be received if the date of creating the shipment precedes the date of the Recipient's death indicated in the death certificate.
13.15. To make a money transfer [10] (including "Money Transfer" and "Payment Control") totaling 5,000 (five thousand) hryvnias or more, you must provide an identity document according to the list specified in clauses 12.2.1–12.2.5 of these Terms or provide a passport of a citizen of Ukraine for travel abroad subject to mandatory presentation of an individual taxpayer registration card or a certificate of assignment of an individual taxpayer identification number.
To verify (confirm) the identity, a representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC is entitled to take a photo of a paper document if the amount of transfers (sending and receiving) within one day exceeds the following limits:
✔ 5,000 hryvnias for cash transfers;
✔ 29,999 hryvnias for transfers via bank payment cards.
13.16. The time spent by the representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC at the Recipient's address should not exceed 15 minutes.
13.17. Under martial law, if the shipment cannot be delivered due to the Recipient's absence at the delivery address or for other reasons beyond the Forwarder's control, the undelivered shipment shall be delivered to the nearest branch or parcel locker (if there are free cells), whereof the Forwarder shall notify the Recipient by sending a text message to the mobile application or, in its absence, to the Recipient's mobile phone number specified in the express waybill of the undelivered shipment.
13.18. The courier delivers the shipment only to the territory of the Recipient's residence. If the Recipient's address is a residential premise in an apartment building or a non-residential premise in a facility with more than one such space, the shipment is delivered to such apartment building or facility. The shipment of up to 30 kg shall be delivered to the entrance of an apartment, private house, or other non-residential premises without ordering the additional service "To the Door".
The shipment over 30 shall be delivered to the entrance of an apartment, private house, or other non-residential premises if you order the additional service "To the Door".
14. TERMS FOR DELIVERING AND RECEIVING SHIPMENTS AT THE PARCEL LOCKER
14.1. The parcel lockers accept shipments with an actual weight of up to 20 kg per single place, a size not exceeding 40x60x30 cm, and a declared value of up to 15,000 hryvnias. Dimensions are indicated including packaging.
14.2. If the size of the shipment does not fit into the parcel locker or if there are technical problems with the parcel locker when placing it, delivery is made to the nearest branch.
14.3. One can place no more than one shipment per express waybill in a parcel locker.
14.4. Once the representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC places the shipment in the parcel locker, the Recipient receives a notification of delivery.
14.5. To receive the shipment at the parcel locker, the Recipient must download the mobile application of NOVA POSHTA LLC and log in using the mobile phone number specified in the express waybill.
14.6. To receive the shipment, the Recipient's smartphone with the mobile application of NOVA POSHTA LLC installed must enable Bluetooth, geolocation, and mobile connectivity.
14.7. To receive the shipment, please pay for the delivery services and/or make a money transfer using a bank card on the Website in the "Track" section or in the mobile application of NOVA POSHTA LLC, if you have ordered the additional "Money Transfer" or "Payment Control" service.
14.8. The parcel locker can be opened by the Recipient using the mobile application of NOVA POSHTA LLC. Once the Recipient receives the shipment, he or she must close the cell.
14.9. If the Recipient fails to pick up the shipment from the parcel locker within 5 calendar days of storage (the day of loading the shipment into the parcel locker is not included), the next calendar day the shipment will be sent to the nearest branch.
14.10. In case the shipment was moved to a branch and the Recipient made an online payment and the shipment was forwarded by the Sender, the Recipient who made an online payment under the express waybill will be refunded within three to five banking days.
14.11. The working schedule of the parcel lockers is available on the Website.
14.12. Only persons who live in apartments or use non-residential premises located in an apartment building can order delivery to a parcel locker and receive the parcels.
15. ADDITIONAL SERVICES
15.1. Additional service means a service provided on top of the basic service for an additional fee. Additional services of NOVA POSHTA LLC include:
15.1.1. "Calling a courier" means that the Sender is provided with a suitable vehicle for loading the shipment within the agreed time. Individual entrepreneurs and legal entities are provided with this service through a personal manager. The service is ordered only by submitting a request for calling a courier through the business account/API.
15.1.2. "Storage" means that the shipment is stored in the branch for 30 calendar days, excluding the day of receipt at the Recipient's branch.
The shipment is stored without additional charges within 7 calendar days for Documents, Cargoes, Tires/Rims, and Parcels, and 3 calendar days for Pallets, excluding the day of receipt at the Recipient's branch.
A storage fee is charged for storing a shipment from the 8th to the 30th calendar day for Documents, Cargoes, Tires/Rims, and Parcels, and from the 4th to the 30th calendar day for Pallets.
If the shipment has not been claimed by the Recipient or the Sender within 30 calendar days, such shipment is considered unclaimed, and the liability of NOVA POSHTA LLC to the Sender and the Recipient for the safety of the shipment is terminated. NOVA POSHTA LLC is entitled to dispose of such a shipment at its sole discretion, in particular, to compensate for the cost of storage and transportation of this shipment.
15.1.3. "Money Transfer" [11] means that the Recipient controls the transfer of funds to the Sender. This service is provided by a financial partner under an agreement with NOVA POSHTA LLC. Money transfers can be sent/received only in national currency. The Recipient of the money transfer can order the payment either at a branch of NOVA POSHTA LLC or to a bank card.
15.1.4. "Return delivery of documents" means the return of documents to the Sender, which is agreed with the Recipient in advance. The documents can be collected from the Recipient at the time of delivery of the shipment or on another day, depending on their availability. Collecting the documents is an optional condition for issuing the shipment to the Recipient, i.e., the shipment is passed to the Recipient even if he or she lacks return delivery documents. The express waybill with the additional "Return delivery of documents" service is issued depending on the date and time of submitting the documents for sending.
15.1.5. "Return delivery of subtypes of documents" means returning to the Sender those subtypes of documents (power of attorney, express waybill with or without a seal, state-standard consignment note with or without a seal, expenditure invoice with or without a seal) that were specified when registering the shipment. The documents can be collected from the Recipient when the shipment is handed over. By default, collecting the documents is a mandatory condition for issuing the shipment to the Recipient, and the representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC shall notify the Sender of any non-standard situation and wait for his or her instructions for further actions.
15.1.6. "Payment Control" means that the Recipient controls the transfer of funds to the Sender in the amount specified in the relevant express waybill. This service can be ordered by a business entity if it has an agreement [12] with NovaPay LLC, a financial partner.
15.1.7. "Document signature control" means that the documents that were signed by the Recipient before the representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC are returned to the Sender. This service shall be provided to the Customer subject to a Service Agreement (Contract).
15.1.8. "Delivery to supermarket chains" means delivery to malls and self-service stores (supermarkets, hypermarkets, etc.). The list of Recipients under this service, delivery terms, and other relevant conditions are specified on the Website.
15.1.9. "Local Express" means the shipment is delivered during the current day within one city and at certain time intervals. This service is available for ordering by the basic service type: "Address-Address" and "Address-Branch". The shipment is collected at the address subject to at least 5 (five) express waybills generated. This service shall be provided to the Customer subject to a Service Agreement (Contract). Detailed information is available on the Website.
15.1.10. "Hand delivery" means that the shipment is delivered only to the person specified by the Recipient in the express waybill. This service can only be ordered by the Sender upon signing a Transportation Services Agreement with Nova Poshta LLC for shipments under one of the types of basic service: "Branch-Address", "Address-Address". NOVA POSHTA LLC is not liable for delivering the shipment to the wrong Recipient if the Sender has provided incorrect or incomplete information about the Recipient.
15.1.11. "Identification of the person" means checking the Recipient's age of majority when the shipment is handed over to him or her personally.
This service can be ordered only by the Sender. The service is provided for shipments under one of the types of basic service: "Branch-Address", "Address-Address", "Address-Branch", or "Branch-Branch" (except for pickup points).
When issuing a shipment, a representative of Nova Poshta LLC shall check the Recipient's date of birth by verifying the identity card bearing the date of birth.
The shipment can be issued only if the representative of Nova Poshta LLC enters the Recipient's date of birth into the data system of Nova Poshta LLC when issuing the shipment.
When ordering the "Identification of the person" service, the "Hand delivery" service is automatically activated. The "Identification of the person" service cannot be ordered separately from the "Hand delivery".
15.1.12. "Control of piece-by-piece delivery" means that a representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC controls the process of unpacking and delivery of each piece of shipment to the Recipient according to the waybill. This service shall be provided to the Customer subject to a Service Agreement (Contract).
15.1.13. "Packing" means placing the shipment in the most suitable type of packaging that will ensure its reliable transportation, warehousing, storage, and protection. The shipment is wrapped in packaging from the range offered by NOVA POSHTA LLC.
15.1.14. "Returnable packaging" means placing the shipment in a reusable container used for transportation from the moment of registration of the shipment until the shipment is delivered to the Recipient. Reusable containers are the property of NOVA POSHTA LLC and are not transferred to third parties. This service is available only in cargo branches.
15.1.15. "Palletizing" means assembling a pallet by representatives of NOVA POSHTA LLC. Palletizing is the process of providing a tray, placing shipments on it, arranging them into a single unit, and securing them to the tray with stretch film or other material. This service is available only in cargo branches.
15.1.16. "Forwarding" means changing the delivery address of an already registered shipment within the same locality or country. Both the Sender and the Recipient can request the service. This service can be ordered no more than twice for one shipment.
15.1.17. "To the door" means the shipment is lifted to the floor when delivered to the Recipient's address. The actual weight of one piece of the shipment should not exceed 100 kg, while the distance from the parking lot with the NOVA POSHTA LLC vehicle to the building should be 50 meters. The service can be ordered when registering the shipment and while waiting for the courier. Both the Sender and the Recipient can order the service. If the weight of the shipment under an express waybill does not exceed 30 kg (actual or volumetric weight determined by the higher value), the service is provided without additional payment, without pre-order and regardless of the floor of the Recipient.
The service is provided with no crating, pallet boards, or flatboxes. If the elevator is faulty, there is no power supply in the Recipient's house, or if the shipment does not fit in the elevator, the To-the-Door service is available:
● For parcels up to 30 kg, up to the 5th floor only;
● For parcels over 30 kg, up to the 1st floor only.

15.1.18. "From the door" means the shipment is lowered down when picked up from the Sender's floor. The actual weight of one piece of the shipment should not exceed 100 kg, while the distance from the parking lot with the NOVA POSHTA LLC vehicle to the building should be 50 meters. The service can be ordered by the Sender when registering the shipment and while waiting for the courier. If the weight of the shipment under an express waybill does not exceed 30 kg (actual or volumetric weight determined by the higher value), the service is provided without additional payment, without pre-ordering and regardless of the Sender's floor. The service is provided with no crating, pallet boards, or flatboxes. If the elevator is faulty, there is no power supply in the Sender's house, or if the shipment does not fit in the elevator, the From-the-Door service is available:
● For parcels up to 30 kg, no higher than the 5th floor;
● For parcels over 30 kg, no higher than the 1st floor.

15.1.19. "Surcharge for dimensions over 120 cm" allows the Sender to send shipments up to 30 kg and over 30 kg with a side over 120 cm from the cargo branch of NOVA POSHTA LLC or order pickup at the address.
15.2. "Shipment return" is a service involving the return of a shipment to the Sender based on a request for return of the shipment or on certain terms of cooperation with the Customer. The cost of the service complies with the basic rates available on the Website.
Automatic shipment return means setting individual storage periods for unclaimed shipments in the branch (within 30 calendar days, excluding the day the shipment is received at the Recipient's branch) and ensures automatic return of shipments to the Sender once the individual storage period expires. The Sender can order the automatic shipment return if there is a Service Agreement (Contract). Both the Sender and the Recipient of the shipment can order an extension of the individual storage period.
Exceptions:
● When delivering a shipment to a parcel locker, if the automatic return period is set for the 5th calendar day or more, the shipment will be moved to the nearest branch after 5 calendar days of being stored in the parcel locker;
● When delivering a shipment to a pickup point, a delay of up to 2 business days is allowed for automatic return;
● If the Recipient refuses to receive the shipment, the shipment will be automatically returned on the day of refusal.

15.3. "Transfer point" is a service not related to transportation, which provides the opportunity to leave the shipment at any branch of NOVA POSHTA LLC with the subsequent transfer of the shipment to the Recipient at the same branch/parcel locker.
The shipment is stored without additional charges within 7 calendar days for Documents, Cargoes, Tires/Rims, and Parcels, and 3 calendar days for Pallets, excluding the day of receipt at the Recipient's branch.
A storage fee is charged for storing a shipment from the 8th to the 30th calendar day for Documents, Cargoes, Tires/Rims, and Parcels, and from the 4th to the 30th calendar day for Pallets.
If within 30 calendar days the shipment has not been claimed by the Recipient or the Sender, such shipment is considered unclaimed, and the liability of NOVA POSHTA LLC to the Sender and the Recipient for the safety of the shipment is terminated. NOVA POSHTA LLC is entitled to dispose of such a shipment at its sole discretion, in particular, to compensate for the cost of storage and transportation of this shipment.
Terms of service at the parcel locker: the service can be ordered in the mobile application of NOVA POSHTA LLC when the Sender chooses the same parcel locker as the place of dispatch and the place of receipt. If the Recipient fails to pick up the shipment from the parcel locker within 5 calendar days of storage (the day of loading the shipment into the parcel locker is not included), the next calendar day the shipment will be sent to the nearest branch.
The shipment is stored without additional charges within 7 calendar days for Documents, Cargoes, Tires/Rims, and Parcels, and 3 calendar days for Pallets, excluding the day of receipt at the Recipient's branch.
A storage fee is charged for storing a shipment from the 8th to the 30th calendar day for Documents, Cargoes, Tires/Rims, and Parcels, and from the 4th to the 30th calendar day for Pallets.
If the shipment has not been claimed by the Recipient or the Sender within 30 calendar days, such shipment is considered unclaimed, and the liability of NOVA POSHTA LLC to the Sender and the Recipient for the safety of the shipment is terminated. NOVA POSHTA LLC is entitled to dispose of such a shipment at its sole discretion, in particular, to compensate for the cost of storage and transportation of this shipment.
This service is available for shipments that are not included in the list of goods prohibited for transportation according to Section 5 of these Terms. 15.4. "Reliable purchase" [13] is a service that provides information (statuses) to the financial partner about the shipment when ordering an online service on the websites of partners. The financial partner shall accumulate the funds paid for the shipment by the Recipient until the relevant information (status) about the shipment is received for further transfer of funds to the Sender or their return to the Recipient.
The cost of the service includes the cost of the "Shipment return" service. The service is provided for shipments up to 30 kg and Tires/Rims (without weight restrictions) using the basic service "Branch-Branch" without the possibility of ordering such additional services as "Forwarding", "Money Transfer", "Payment Control", and "Data change".
15.5. "Fulfillment" means providing a range of services for warehousing, packaging, repackaging, labeling, etc. The service is provided by NOVA POSHTA LLC based on a separate agreement.
15.6. "Bank Card Delivery" means delivery of bank cards to the branch of NOVA POSHTA LLC, execution of the package of documents by the Recipient, verification, and identification of the Recipient.
15.7. "Labeling printer" allows customers to purchase a labeling printer and label their shipments independently to speed up and optimize business processes and save time on dispatch. The sale of Zebra printers is available only to business entities. You can order a printer from the manager of NOVA POSHTA LLC. Detailed information is available on the Website.
15.8. "Device replacement" means providing the customer with replacement equipment in exchange for the old one that is out of service.
15.9. "Safe Service" [15] is a service for individuals aimed at conducting secure and safe online transactions between the Sender and the Recipient, as payment is made only in the mobile application of NOVA POSHTA LLC. Detailed information is available on the Website.
16. SERVICES
16.1. "Application Programming Interface" (API) is a set of useful functions and tools that allows you to access any service to obtain the necessary data, integrate logistics processes into any business quickly, and serves as a single entry point for all Customers and services. The API is designed to automate the Customer's cooperation with NOVA POSHTA LLC. By using the API, the Customer agrees to the Regulations available on the Website.
16.2. "Business account" is a personal account that can be accessed through the official website of NOVA POSHTA LLC and allows the Customer to create express waybills, order additional services, etc. By using the Business account, the Customer agrees to the Regulations available on the Website.
16.3. "Mobile application" is a software tool for quick access to information about shipment transportation that is available on smartphones with Android and iOS operating systems. This software provides a convenient way to create an express waybill, find the nearest branch, calculate the cost of a shipment, track its location, call a courier for a suitable time, etc. By using the Mobile application, the Customer agrees to the Regulations available on the Website.
16.4. "Restoring the express waybill number" means informing the Recipient or the Sender of the express waybill number after he or she has applied to the branch of NOVA POSHTA LLC. This service is available upon submission of the documents specified in clause 12.2 of these Terms.
16.5. "Shipment tracking" provides the ability to track the location of the shipment by the express waybill number. One can use the service on the Website or via the mobile application.
16.6. "Reschedule the delivery" means the possibility to shift the delivery to a date and time interval convenient for the Recipient. Detailed information is available on the Website.
16.7. "Shipment inspection" allows the Recipient to open the shipment at the branch (at a specially designated table) or address to check its contents for external damage and compliance with the ordered goods before the representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC.
The shipment inspection process should not exceed 5 minutes per shipment. NOVA POSHTA LLC shall not provide the shipment for inspection if it is specified in the agreement with the Sender. The following is prohibited when inspecting shipments:
✔ Connect devices, storage media, or mechanisms that are not part of the shipment (except for SIM cards, headphones, batteries, and flash drives (to check for defects in the TV matrix)).
A power component is an electrical or electronic part, a power source that stores energy and makes it available in electrical form to devices connected thereto. For example:
- Batteries;
- Rechargeable batteries and accumulators;
- Chargers.
✔ Use consumable materials that are included in the shipment (e.g., spraying test bottles of perfume, testing cosmetic products).
✔ Use the contents of the shipment with the Recipient's own belongings, including storage media (it is prohibited to connect, read, or copy the contents).
✔ Pour fuels, oils, or other liquids into shipments that require them.
✔ Set passwords to electrical devices that have this function (phones, tablets, computers, or laptops).
✔ Tear off factory, advertising, and information stickers from packaging and shipments (except for stickers placed on the packaging of computer, electronic, and optical products in places where they are opened).
✔ Open shipments in packages with the following methods of tamper-evident seal (only external inspection for damage is allowed):
− Indicator seals (thread stitching on bags, metal or paper seals on cans, perforations on the neck of lids on containers with liquids, etc.);
− Thermal film (except for computer, electronic, optical products, and accessories included therein) is a type of packaging film characterized by the ability to contract under heat and take the shape of the packaging product;
− Blister packaging is a container or case that is molded to replicate the shape and size of the item placed inside or create a suitable container to hold the product, which is made of heat-resistant plastic and may have a rigid printing, metal, or plastic backing;
− Laminated polyethylene packaging has two or more layers of film combined into one under high temperature, glue, or solvent.
✔ Disassemble shipments, except for cases involving the insertion of a SIM card or batteries without using a tool that is not included with the device.
✔ Conduct an inspection of the shipment outside the branch (for shipments addressed to branches).
✔ Fitting such items as wigs, underwear, swimsuits, bras, socks, and hosiery
✔ Fitting jewelry, in particular, earrings.
In the case of addressed delivery, it is also prohibited to:
− Disassemble the crating in which the shipment is packed;
− Connect portable or household appliances to the power grid (it is allowed to inspect for external defects and mechanical damage to the shipment);
− It is prohibited to try on clothes and shoes during address delivery.
If these inspection terms are violated, the shipment is non-returnable.
16.8. "Notification" means informing the Recipient and the Sender about the arrival, delivery time, and storage of the shipment. This service is provided as an SMS message (or notification in a mobile application or via Viber), a phone call, or an E-mail based on contractual relations with NOVA POSHTA LLC.
Changes to the settings of the "Notification" service apply to all shipments where the Customer is specified as the Sender or Recipient in the express waybill.
16.8.1. If the shipment with a declared value of 30,000 (thirty thousand) hryvnias or more has arrived at the branch, the text of the SMS message about the arrival of the shipment shall not include the express waybill number for the Recipient.
16.8.2. If more than 2 shipments with different express waybills arrive on the same day to the same Recipient, the express waybill number shall not be indicated in the SMS message.
16.8.3. NOVA POSHTA LLC reserves the right to inform customers about unclaimed shipments.
16.9. "Data change" allows the Sender to change the data specified in the express waybill from the moment of its creation until the Recipient receives the shipment.
You can request this service at the branch (in the Sender's or Recipient's region; you can find out the list of settlements included in a particular region by calling the contact center); by making changes in your business account/mobile application/API; or by calling the contact center.
The Sender is not entitled to order the service of data change in the express waybill during the period when the shipment is in the parcel locker and for which the Recipient has made an online payment. Data in the express waybill can be changed at the branch only if the express waybill number and one of the documents are presented under clause 12.2 of these Terms.
16.10. "Self-service" allows the Sender to register the shipment at the branch with no assistance from a representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC. The shipment is registered in the self-service area, which contains the necessary equipment for scanning packaged shipments and printing labels. The Sender shall leave the registered shipments in the self-service area for further transportation.
16.11. "Online payment" allows you to pay for delivery services and additional services in the mobile application, business account, and on the Website in the "Track" section using the Internet acquiring technology [16].
Online payment can be canceled and refunded to the payer in the following cases:
● If the Sender has used the "Shipment return" service;
● If the Sender has used the "Forwarding" service with a change in the Recipient's data;
● If the Sender used the "Data change" service with a change of data in the express waybill;
● If the Recipient of the shipment changes the time interval for which the addressed delivery was ordered;
● If the dimensions and weight of the shipment have changed or additional packaging has been added, which affects the cost of the shipment;
● If there has been a change/inclusion of additional services that affect the cost of the shipment.
The payment will be refunded to the payer within the terms specified by the bank servicing the bank card used to make the online payment.
16.12. Refusal to receive the shipment provides an opportunity for the Sender and the Recipient to refuse to receive the shipment.
The refusal is considered declared (submitted) if the Sender and the Recipient of the shipment submit it in writing at a branch of NOVA POSHTA LLC, by phone, or by electronic means (including in the business account or mobile application). Refusal to receive the shipment can be submitted within 30 days from the date the shipment arrives at the Recipient's branch.
Once the Sender and the Recipient declare (submit) a refusal to receive the shipment, such shipment is considered unclaimed, and Once the Sender and the Recipient declare (submit) a refusal to receive the shipment, such shipment is considered unclaimed, and
16.13. "Other recipient" is a service that allows you to receive a shipment instead of another person at a branch, parcel locker, or address.
This service is available only to the Recipient of the shipment using the mobile application of NOVA POSHTA LLC and if the Sender has not ordered such additional services as "Identification of the person" or "Hand delivery". The authorized representative can receive the shipment at the branch using the mobile application of NOVA POSHTA LLC or by specifying the express waybill number and the SMS code that will be sent in the notification. The authorized representative can receive the shipment at the parcel locker using the mobile application of NOVA POSHTA LLC.
If the authorized representative arrives at the branch to receive the shipment or is waiting for the courier and the declared value of the shipment exceeds 5 thousand hryvnias, the authorized representative must provide the representative of NOVA POSHTA LLC with one of the documents specified in clauses 12.2.2 and 12.3 of these Terms.
16.14. "Easy return" is a service that implies the return of an already received shipment to the Sender. Before ordering it, the Recipient must agree to the service order with the Sender, as well as the terms and conditions of the refund for his or her goods. This service is available only to the Recipient of the shipment using the mobile application or the business account of NOVA POSHTA LLC within 14 days from the date of receipt of the shipment.
16.15 "Leave at the nearest pickup point" is a service ordered by the Recipient that allows you to choose the nearest branch to pick up the shipment if delivery to the address is not available. Delivery time and other terms of service are specified on the Website.
[1] The cargo branch accepting/dispatching shipments up to 200 kg does not accept/dispatch shipments when ordering the additional service "Packing" with the type of packaging "Crating, Flat-box (large), Pallet board 120*80".
[2] The greater value of the actual or volumetric weight is considered to determine the weight of the shipment (documents, parcels, or cargoes).
[3] The term "address" (as in the text) means the entrance of an apartment building, the door of a private house, or the gate of a warehouse at the address indicated in the express waybill.
[4] The term "branch" means the number and/or address of the branch of NOVA POSHTA LLC.
[5] The term "parcel locker" means the number and/or address of the parcel locker of NOVA POSHTA LLC.

[9] If you have no business client identification card, you can receive your shipments by SMS code (for shipments with a declared value of less than 30,000 (thirty thousand) hryvnias), whereby you must present a document and an original power of attorney bearing the mandatory details according to the requirements of NOVA POSHTA LLC. The original power of attorney must be provided by the representative on the first visit to the branch, while from the next visit until the expiration of the power of attorney, the representative only has to present the document proving his or her identity specified in the power of attorney.
